A diagnostic check-up for diabetes was organized by the Pathology

Department on 27th December 2024, at Katasvan. This initiative aimed to provide free medical diagnostic services to the local community. The check-up was inaugurated by members of the Gram panchayat from Katasvan in the presence of staff members and 2nd BHMS CBDC students from C.N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College & RC Vyara. The activity witnessed encouraging participation from local residents. A large number of individuals were screened for diabetes as part of the diagnostic services. Among them, some villagers were found to have positive results. All

identified individuals were referred to Kalidas Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. It was a valuable learning experience for the students. The entire activity was coordinated by Head of Department Dr. Meena Kalra under the guidance of Principal Dr. Jyoti R. Rao.
