Exhibition cum Competition Of projects and models

On occasion of celebration of 16th anniversary of C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre, Vyara, College arrenged Exhibition Cum Competion of Projects of and under the guidence of Department of Community Medicine by student of 4th BHMS on date 13th February 2017. The Preliminary round of Project Competition was judged by Dr. Navin S. Mahant, Dr. Mahendra K. Burad & Dr. Pankaj N. Lathiya on 13th February 2017. In this round 33 projects were finaliesd out of 113 projects. The final round of project competition was judged by Dr. Kimshuk Modi (M.D., Paed.) & Dr. Naitik Chaudhari (M.S.) Superintendent of Vyara General Hospital on 14th February 2017 out of 33 projects best 3 were awarded with prizes.

1st Prize       -        Rs. 2000/- DESAI PRASHANSA JAGDEEPBHAI

2nd Prize      -        Rs. 1500/- BHAMORE RINKAL HARISHKUMAR

3rd Prize      -        Rs. 1000/- MOTIVARAS KINJAL RAMCHANDRA

 

 

 

NATIONAL FILARIA DAY 2016

C.N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College and R.C. Vyara and the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Vyara Unit in association with Referral Hospital & Community Health Center, Valod organized various events on the occasion of “National Filaria Day” on August 10, 2016 at Valod taluka of Tapi district.

Students of 4th BHMS of college visited Referral Hospital and Community Health Center, Post Mortem Room and Government Malnutrition Center located at Valod as a part of curricular activity of department of Community Medicine. Medical Officers, laboratory technicians, nutrition specialist of Referral Hospital and Community Health Center, Valod had delivered short seminar on Filariasis and its management at the auditorium. They have solved queries of students asked related to Filariasis and Elephantiasis. After the lecture, “Filariasis Awareness Rally” with the banners and slogans also arranged in Valod village.

The entire staff of Referral Hospital and Community Health Center, Valod remained cooperative. The programme coordinated by department of Community medicine under  guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Jyoti Rao, Principal of the college. C.N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College and The Homoeopathic Medical Association of Vyara are heartily thankful to the Medical Superintendent of Referral Hospital and Community Health Center, Valod for the permission for visiting the campus and to organize the event of National Filaria Day 2016.
