To provide students learning experience in Botany for identification of Medicinal plants.
We visited “ Waghai Botanical Garden” Dang with Departmental staff Dr. Bhavna Patel, Dr. Tanvika Chaudhari & other two more faculties Dr. Tushar Dhimmer & Dr. Sona Shah with 97 students of 1st BHMS 2023-25 Batch.
Forest officer of Dang provided us with Guide who was a Botanist, he had having knowledge of the medicinal plants, which he taught to the students along with the plants species with respect to :
- Identification of various plant species and their uses.
- Students gained practical knowledge of plant classification and identification
- Developed an understanding of the importance of conservation and sustainability
- Students expressed enthusiasm and engagement throughout the visit
- Faculty members praised the garden's educational resources and staff expertise
The educational visit to the botanical garden was a resounding success, providing students with a unique and enriching learning experience.
