QUIZ COMPETITION-2016
C.N. Kothari Homeopathic Medical College & R.C, Vyara in association with The Homeopathic Medical Association of India, Vyara Unit organized a Quiz Competition on the auspicious occasion of "GURU PURNIMA" on 19th July 2016 at college auditorium. The programme started with prayer to almighty God and garlanding to our Guru Dr. Hahnemann. Principal Dr. Jyoti Rao welcomed all invitees, staff members, students and contestants. Dr. Swapnil Khengar explained ground plan and rules in brief before starting competition. Competition was conducted in six rounds where questions on homeopathic and allied subjects were asked. Quiz conducted in different rounds including Power point presentation, verbal questions, rapid fire questionnaire and buzzer round. In between quiz contests lots of questions were asked to audience and audience were given attractive prizes for correct answers. Total 8 groups of students participated and in one group 5 students from 2nd BHMS to 4th BHMS and internship allowed to participate. Quiz champion team awarded with cash amount of Rs. 5001/- and certificate of excellence. Rs. 3751/- awarded to 2nd Position team and Rs. 2501/- given to the team stood on 3rd Position along with certificates of excellence by college. Two consolation prizes of Rs. 500/- awarded to each 4th & 5th positioned group in quiz of by HMAI, Vyara Unit. Rests of the contestants were awarded with certificate of participation.
Dr. Mahavir Ghiya had taken the hard task as a quiz master and he performed his part very nicely. Dr. Tushar Dhimmar and Dr. Piyush Gujarathi were played as the scorer at the quiz. Dr. J.J. Jain sum up the function with hearty vote of thanks to everyone who played a responsible role for this event. Dr. Jyoti Rao, Principal and Dr.Meena Kalra (President, HMAI VYARA Unit) presented award of prize and certificates to all contestants. The event terminated with the chants of the national anthem. Light refreshment arranged for all teaching, non teaching staff of college and all members by HMAI, Vyara Unit.
