C.N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College & R.C. Vyara started e-learning classes in benefit of students since 21st March 2020. As per circular of university academic activities of college was suspended from 16th March 2020 for all students and holidays declared by college till further notification. Looking at the present situation of spread of Covid19, visionary college principal Dr. Jyoti Rao and college teaching faculty decided to start online education for all students from 1st to 4th year BHMS. College issued notification to all staff members and students to get ready for innovative teaching and learning experience on 21st March 2020. All students of college though at their homes were connected through social media with teaching faculty members. All teaching faculty members have started conducting online classes through audio visual apps, and by posting ppts, word files, prerecorded audio-video etc. as per planning of syllabus. Students of all classrooms took active participation in online academic activity. Students are asked to prepare hand written assignment for topics completed by all subject teachers. All online lectures conducted according to academic time table designed before the period of lockdown.
During this lockdown period all students and intern doctors were also given a special training program implemented by ministry of AYUSH named as “Covid19-Response and containment measures” separately class wise in 5 sessions by master trainer Dr. Mahavir Ghiya.
Teaching faculty like Dr. Parit Bhatt and Dr. Ankita Bhatt shared information on homoeopathy and Covid19, summer related skin disorders etc. on “Akashwani Daman Center 102.3 FM” during this period.
